There was a season of my life when the soundtrack was ocean waves, canyon drives, and some of the most talented artists in the world.

Years ago, while working at a music company in Malibu, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with musicians whose songs shaped road trips, late nights, and entire eras. What started as part of the job quickly became something more meaningful: real conversations about creativity, risk, failure, reinvention, and the stories behind the sound.

These weren’t just promotional interviews. They were honest discussions about the craft, how a melody is born, what happens when inspiration dries up, what touring really feels like, and how artists evolve over time. Being in that environment, equal parts laid-back coastal energy and high-level creative intensity, gave each conversation a unique texture you can’t quite replicate anywhere else.

I’ve decided to start sharing these interviews here on my website. Some are reflective. Some are raw. Some are surprisingly funny. All of them offer a glimpse into the human side of music.

And this is just the beginning.

While I’ll be continuing to publish more of my past and archived conversations with musicians, I’ll also be expanding beyond music, featuring interviews with creators, founders, actors, and other fascinating voices across industries.
